Half Life 2 for linux.
To play just Extract the archive to a random directory on your hard drive and run hl2.exe in Wine or Crossover.
I have tested the game in Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04, runs well with the free and proprietary Ati Radeon drivers.
If you have trouble starting it, disable Wine`s pixel shading support and all should be well.

I havent tested this, not sure if it contains counter strike, but you can download counter strike seperately and add it to the HL2 folder, it should work (also episode 1 and 2 should be possible to be added this way)

This does not work!

You'll get the message:

"(...) 'hl2.exe_hl2' missing!"

when running hl2.exe with wine.
